Description

North-west of Port Augusta, Mount Gunson is named after Limerick born Dr John Michael Gunson who arrived in the Grassmer in 1852. He served on the University of Adelaide council and was medical officer to the Hibernian Benefit Society, a director of the Catholic Building Society, and president of the Young Men’s Society.
